The dehumidifier is ideally placed, for example, in cupboards, food storage rooms and small sanitary rooms without windows. In areas that are particularly sensitive to moisture in the house, it effectively removes excess moisture from the air, reduces condensation and prevents mold growth.

Integrated control light on time warns when the tank is full, and the overflow protection with automatic shut-off prevents the 2-liter water tank from overflowing. Thanks to the air cleaning function, the TTP 10 E filters animal hair, dander and dust from the air – the reusable air filter can be removed and cleaned easily.

Even with this type of dehumidifier, it is necessary to create a cold surface inside the device whose temperature is lower than the dew point of the air, because this is the only way water from the air can condense on it. This is what the Peltier element is for, a compact thermoelectric converter that affects the current flow so that one side of the element becomes very hot and the other very cold.

Now the air in the room is sucked in via the fan and conducted along the cold side of the Peltier element. Here, the air cools below its dew point, the moisture in it condenses and drips into the receiving tank. The dry air then passes along the hot side of the element, absorbs its heat, and returns to the room as warm dry air.
