Trotec dehumidifier TTK 28 E

Thanks to its compact dimensions, the TROTEC TTK 28 E can find its place even in the smallest rooms, where it can do its job and thus keep heated rooms or offices up to 15 m² dry.

Thanks to the built-in hygrostat, you can choose the desired air humidity of 40, 50 or 60% yourself, and the dehumidification system will automatically maintain the desired humidity level. As soon as the required humidity level is reached, the compressor switches itself off. The fan continues to rotate. If the required humidity level is exceeded, the device is automatically activated. Permanent dehumidification is available as another mode of operation. The LED display on the top side shows the currently selected operating mode.

Automatic restart function

With the automatic restart function (or memory function), the device restarts with the previously selected setting after an unexpected shutdown due to a power failure as soon as the power is available again. This means that the dehumidifier is also suitable for use with a timer.

A small dehumidifier with surprisingly high performance

The TROTEC TTK 28 E dehumidifier offers practical features such as a washable air filter. A cable and plug holder, as well as a retractable, practical carrying handle and steerable wheels make it easy to move from one room to another. All functions can be set quickly and easily on the clear and intuitive control panel.

Of course, the integrated drainage connection also allows the TTK 28 E to operate continuously unattended – an ideal solution for continuous use in hobby rooms or holiday homes, for example, where the tank cannot be emptied regularly.

Gentle drying of laundry with dehumidifiers

In addition to dehumidifying the air in the room, the dehumidifier can be practically used for drying clothes - as a support or as a complete replacement for a classic clothes dryer. The laundry drying function (also known as fabric drying mode or SuperDry function) is comparable to traditional outdoor drying.

Dehumidifiers have an advantage because the laundry dries gently, just like in nature. The colors remain bright, and the clothes have a longer lifespan than with conventional tumble dryers and with significantly lower energy consumption.

In addition, delicate materials such as wool, silk or synthetic fibers can also be dried without hesitation. Unlike pure air drying, laundry becomes much softer and more comfortable to wear on the skin.

Laundry drying is also possible with dehumidifiers without a laundry drying function. The target humidity value must then be set according to the desired residual humidity:

Closet dry: 46% relative humidity

Dry for ironing: 58% relative humidity

Dried: 65% relative humidity

Propane (R290) as an environmentally friendly refrigerant in dehumidifiers

Every year, several million tons of environmentally harmful CO2 emissions (greenhouse gases) are released into the air through synthetic refrigerants. Therefore, the use of alternative refrigerants is one of our most important goals. With the use of propane (R290) as a refrigerant, this dehumidifier makes a valuable contribution to climate protection.

The natural refrigerant propane (R290) is an organic compound and is one of the hydrocarbons. Unlike synthetic refrigerants, environmentally friendly propane (R290) has neither ozone depletion potential (ODP=0) nor significant greenhouse effect (GWP=3).

Additional plus for the environment: Due to its excellent thermodynamic properties, propane (R290) is a particularly energy-efficient refrigerant and thus also reduces your energy costs.
